Tasty baguette with Mozzarella cheese and cherry tomatoes served warm is the perfect breakfast on a sunny Spring morning. The dish is very simple to make and its taste and fresh basil aroma is irreplaceable!
♦whole grain baguette
♦40 g Mozzarella cheese (1/2 ball)
♦20 g arugula
♦10 cherry tomatoes
♦about 20 fresh basil leaves
♦1 handful walnuts
♦olive oil (for spreading)
Cut the baguette lengthwise and spread a little bit of olive oil. Rinse and half cherry tomatoes. Place Mozzarella slices, tomatoes and half the basil leaves on the baguette. Place in an preheated oven and bake at 180°C until the cheese melts. Afterwards, take it out of the oven, sprinkle with walnuts and the remaining basil leaves.
